ENFJ: The Protagonist
A warm, charismatic guide who sees people's potential and organizes the world around helping them reach it.
Your standard reading
ENFJs are natural mentors. They read people accurately, care about their growth, and have the organizational drive to actually move groups toward a shared good. They are articulate, warm, and persuasive, often ending up in teaching, leading, or counseling roles whether they planned to or not. Their weakness is the flip side of their gift: they define themselves through others' needs, absorb the room's emotions, and can burn out or overstay in relationships that take more than they give.
Strengths
- Outstanding at reading and developing people
- Warm, articulate, and naturally persuasive
- Organized and reliable in service of a shared goal
- Genuine altruism backed by real follow-through
Blind spots
- Loses own needs inside everyone else's
- Overly idealistic about people, slow to accept their limits
- Takes disagreement personally and struggles with criticism
ENFJ and INFJ
ENFJ is the INFJ's closest neighbor: same functions, different order. The ENFJ leads with Fe (people first, vision second); the INFJ leads with Ni (vision first, people second), and mistyping depends on social energy on test day. The ENFJ speaks the vision aloud; the INFJ carries it quietly.
